Hey Dave (and everyone),
Class of 80 Jim Dahle here, still In Rice Lake, enjoying the great outdoors and the spirit of the wild
Hello everyone Back in Germany I had two more years in my old school in Frankfurt to get the German 'Abitur'. Afterwards I learned for two years horticulture in the Botanic Garden in Frankfurt. 1985 I moved to Freiburg to help my brother with his garden and landscaping business. 1986 I got to know Ute my wife. 1988 I started out some thing completely different - I went to study computer science to get a programmer for two years. 1990 we married and I started to work in a little company developing software. We have 3 girls, Jana was born in 1991, Nele 1993 and Siri in 1995. 1995 we had to move because I got a new job at SAP in Walldorf near Heidelberg. Since that time we are living in a small town called Nussloch ( which means Nut hole) between Heidelberg and Walldorf. I have been only one again in Rice ake in 1982.
In response to a web lackey:
Last 5 years have not been too eventful. After failing to find WMD with Hans Blick, traveled to France and sold Lance Armstrong on the LiveStrong thong. After an unfortunate chaffing incident, Lance comes up with the more comfortable wristband concept. My "MyPOD" idea stolen by Apple, and renamed while I was distracted with an unsuccessful design attempt for the New York City 9/11 memorial. Featured as stunt double in several racy, yet tasteful, European Viagra television ads. Startling wardrobe malfunction forced Donald Trump to tell me “You’re Fired!” even before my first episode on The Apprentice. Mid-life crisis helps me realize I really don’t love Raymond.
Finally became a MOM...on March 18, 2002 at the Anhui Hotel in Hefei, Anhui Province, P.R. of China I was handed a beautiful, screaming little girl. Within hours she was mine (and my husbands) to keep. After a wonderful tour of her homeland, we arrived back in the states on our daughters first birthday, March 30. In April of 2003 I walked away from my career at Wells Fargo Bank to be a stay-at-home mom and I have never looked back!! We are still working on our house...still looking for the perfect old car. In December (hopefully) of this year, Todd, Emily and I will be traveling back to China to meet and finalize the adoption of our second daughter.
Besides working I spend most of my spare time with the family. Gay and I have been together for 7+ years and have successfully blended two families together as one. All of our kids are very active in school and sports which keeps us very busy. I transferred from GB Sales to Lehmann & Larson 2 years ago.
Finely becoming adjusted from the harsh world of underwater construction to the much more tame world of science and oceanography. Spending more time at home than away took some getting use to, especially for my wife. Keeping our 4 grandkids as spoiled as possible. My wife and I also ride with the Monterey County Sheriff's Mounted Search and Rescue so we are busy with our 4 horses doing things for the county.

I have been attending the WITC New Richmond campus to obtain my two-year
associate degree to become an Administrative Assistant and also my certificate
to become a Medical Transcriptionist. My husband and I have made a few trips to
Colorado, Utah, and Montana. I have recently started training in hopes of
running a marathon. My husband and I stay very busy riding bikes, hiking, and
kayaking on the lakes around where we live.
I am looking forward to seeing some of the 'ol familiar faces from Rice Lake High School, class of 1980. I will have my check for $30, for attending the reunion, in the mail on Monday, June 27. Thanks to everyone for their hard work and dedication in putting this event together. I know that it takes a lot of people and a lot of hard work...Thanks!
Tammy (Clark) Wall
I keep very busy home schooling my 2 children. I serve on two committees for our church. I also serve on the board of directors and two committees for the Irish dance school that my children attend. Most of my life is spent in meetings, running my kids to dance practices or competitions around the Midwest. My husband started his own business about 1 1/2 years ago and I keep busy helping him as well. Life is busy, life is good and we are blessed!
I recently purchased a $500,000 home in a city approximately 30 miles north
of Los Angeles. It is my first home purchase and I am very excited!! As many of
you may know, or suspected, I am a recovering alcoholic who has been sober for 4
years. That is when my life changed forever. I met a great partner, Susan
McWilliams, who is my soul mate and is an inspiration to me.
I work for a small company, about 200 employees, and love my work.
I will not make it back this year, but will try in five years!!

Work....Work....Work ! Not much else.
Can't make the reunion, but just want to say HI to everyone and wish everyone well. Maybe I can make the next one.
Working a lot -- teaching music to children and training teachers; consultant in arts and music education; writing dissertation; still playing the flute; visit family in Rice Lake as often as possible; trying to save the environment; hiking, canoeing and kayaking when I can.
I have two girls. The oldest is going to be a Senior this fall and the other is going to be in 5th grade. I have been married for 18 years. We live in Bloomington now for the last 5 years. Its a very nice neighborhood. We just got back from a family vacation from San Franscisco, CA and we have rented a cabin this summer for a week. I have kept busy over the years with family and friends. My kids especially have kept me quite busy. My husband works for General Mills for the past 10 years. I have worked for my company for 15 years.

Taking care of young children. Camping. Going to the park. Trying to get enough sleep. Taking care of young children.
Our family is active in our church and I help with men's ministry. We have four children still at home so I'm involved with their activities. I coach hockey and soccer and am an active supporter in the other sports my boys play in such as football and baseball. My 2 oldest boys and I also play church softball. I'm trying to be the best husband and father that I possibly can be. I've changed allot since high school, and I thank God for that.
Mike (nordy) Neil
Coaching Little League, and still playing fast pitch softball.
Just living life in good 'ol Spooner - working (too much!) in Minong - yes
Minong - actually 10 miles west of Minong in the middle of the woods!
Launching kids into Life on their own - how do you guide and direct your kids
when you don't know what you want to do when you grow up yourself? Geez
it's weird being this old, it seems like we were just 25 doesn't it?
Let's catch up at the reunion - I am looking forward to seeing everyone!

Trip to the Boundary Waters in Minnesota, working on my flower beds, enjoying my kids and dog.
Hey, I can still come right, even if my registration is tardy? I'll look for the address and payment info. Is the $15 also for children? Children welcome? Thanks.
Raising Kids, Dance classes and recitals, with our 11 year old, Baseball and
basketball practices and games with our 15 year old, watching our first grand
baby once and a while, escaping with Debbie to bless and encourage our marriage.
We are also very involved with our church and trying to please God in all things
is first and foremost. (I have been able to do that in most areas, and am still
working on the rest) (Yep clean and sober for approx 20 years). I've been
on several missions trips, Mexico, South Africa, Uganda, and am planning another
trip this Aug. We will be sponsoring 2 new water wells, and visiting several
orphanages and churches in the areas there. Looking forward to seeing everyone
Dan and I located with our two children in Washington State. We have been married for almost 22 years. I look at the photos and what everyone has written and remember a day when I wondered how I would survive in this world without each of you... those years meant so much and still bring a smile. Now, I find myself with a daughter who almost 20 and struggling to find her place in the world. A son who is 17 will graduate next year. Empty nest soon....and as ready for it as I will ever be Our family’s passion is being on our boat.... When Dan finally retired from the Navy we bought our first home 7 years ago and a great ski boat 3 years ago. If the sun is out we're on the lake. I drive they wakeboard, ski and tube. I had hoped to be home for the reunion but a change in events here has made it impossible to make it back... I will think of you and hope you have a great time...

Working, volunteering and tutoring at our children's school. Seemingly,
non-stop running with kids to their various sports. We enjoy karaoke, boating
and spending time with friends and family. Appreciating every day as a great
gift from God.
Just incase the sight is still taking more info, and people are wondering... I have been living the past 10 years pretty much in Rio Rancho, New Mexico with my husband and 2 kids (18 and 15). After moving my senior year to Washington, I moved to Portland Oregon where I was for many years after high school. I worked as an accountant for the State of Oregon and had 2 wonderful children. After moving to New Mexico and getting involved in the schools here, I started teaching. I now I am teaching 5th grade special ed.
I am a self employed slum lord that is semi-retired and travels a bit. I had the great opportunity to sail across the Atlantic twice with Captain Wayne Spangler on the Stormy Duchess, www.stormyduchess.com sailed to Jon Spangler’s bachelor party in Ensenada, bicycled from San Francisco to LA, rebuilt a 77 Harley, stood in million man march against the war in Melbourne, owned a brewery, got rid of a brewery, was a guest cook on a TV show, hiked the Grand Canyon Rim to Rim, guided river rafting trips, came in dead last in a triathlon, hosted several bachelor parties, hosted many visiting friends, ran through a few girl friends, while casually sailing on Lake Mead and celebrating in the weddings and births that have increased the size of the Charron clan. I currently am not responsible for any such said increases. Some things are too good to do just once like the annual Wisconsin fishing opener with Scott Visger, the Alaskan fishing trip with Tim Hovde, Mexican bike rides with whoever, and my own Memorial Day “Pig Roast” for any and all. For anyone who has read this far you can see more of what I have been up to at www.charrons.com
Hi everyone I'm still living in Rice Lake, its funny to see how many people still live in Rice Lake yet you never run across them. I am going on my 24th year at American Excelsior Co. in Rice Lake. I am the General Manager of the Rice Lake Plant and the plant in Florence, AL. I also oversee our Distrubution sites in Raritan, NJ. Charlotte, NC. Atlanta, GA and Memphis, TN. Needless to say this keeps me pretty busy. My wife Dina and I have been married for 6 years, each of us have one child that live with us, Joe 22 and Ashley 13. We do a lot of weekend traveling to our camper set on a site in Marinette, WI (where Dina is from) to just jumping in the motorhome and staying where ever we land. It sure is interesting to see what everyone is up to, great web site.
